Safe Scrolling. The essential guide for parents.

Unlike their counterparts in Australia, children in the UK can continue to use social media. This follows a vote in the House of Commons that rejected a House of Lords amendment to completely ban social media for under-16s. Social psychologist Professor Sander van der Linden opposes blanket social media bans, but believes there are more nuanced alternatives – including “safety by design” regulation and education – that can help children stay safe online and build digital skills.
