The session began with Dr. Carrie using a Trico scope to examine Howey’s scalp, revealing some "natural sebum buildup" around the follicle base and traces of the purple shampoo Howey uses to "color correct any extra brassiness". Howey explained that her hair color started pulling "a lot warmer as opposed to cooler" after she got pregnant, necessitating the corrective purple shampoo.
