BRIANNE HOWEY - THE CÉCRED SALON

Actress Brienne Howey, known for her vibrant, often high-drama roles, recently detailed the toll continuous set work and coloring takes on her hair, describing it as "pretty dry" due to the constant use of "hot tools" and chemical processing. Her journey toward hair rejuvenation brought her to the CÉCRED Salon for a "sacred experience" aimed at restoring health and shine.

The session began with Dr. Carrie using a Trico scope to examine Howey’s scalp, revealing some "natural sebum buildup" around the follicle base and traces of the purple shampoo Howey uses to "color correct any extra brassiness". Howey explained that her hair color started pulling "a lot warmer as opposed to cooler" after she got pregnant, necessitating the corrective purple shampoo. The mission of the CÉCRED service was clear: to transform her hair health and transform her hair before she starts shooting her show next week.

The CÉCRED service started with the Detoxifying Shampoo, a product designed to "refresh and purify" the scalp by eliminating the buildup observed. Howey was promised a "nice cooling feeling" from the shampoo, which features beautiful blue-violet pigments packaged in lapis blue, representing royalty and honor.

The highlight of the service was the application of the Reconstructing Treatment Mask. As a surprise guest, CÉCRED founder Miss Tina personally oversaw the treatment, calling it her "favorite product in the line". Miss Tina explained that the mask is a reconstructor designed to "fortify your hair" and restore moisture. She emphasized its high molecular weight, which allows the product to "penetrate really deep into the core of your hair" and seal the cuticle—a crucial step for color-treated hair like Howey's, which tends to be dry. Howey was so keen on the promised enhanced shine and strength that she exclaimed, "we start shooting next week i need this thank you". Miss Tina recommended letting the mask fully penetrate by sitting under the dryer.

During the treatment, Miss Tina shared her personal connection to Howey’s work, praising the actress's character for her "fierceness about your kids," a trait that reminded her of the women in Texas. The actress, a California native, was incredibly flattered by the comparison, joking that she could "retire now".

The CÉCRED experience concluded with dramatic results. Howey called the transformation "unrecognizable". She praised the hair for being "so soft" and noted that the color was now "so rich but still really beautiful" because the purple successfully took out the brassiness, making her hair look "so healthy and thick and pretty". Howey finished the session confessing, "I am obsessed" with the experience.
